What makes Pro-Energy® different from other energy brokers?

Pro-Energy® isn't an energy broker - we're a completely unique energy rate tracking service. While traditional brokers may cold call and pressure you into deals, we provide a free monitoring service that keeps a weekly eye on energy rates and sends you personalised quotes up to 52 weeks before your contract ends. How does Pro-Energy® actually work?

It's simple: once you register and complete the verification process, our system continuously monitors wholesale energy rates and compares them to your current contract costs. Every week you'll receive an email with the best contract rates for 12, 24 and 36-month terms for each of your meters, showing current market rates and potential savings. If you see favourable rates you want to lock in, you can secure them up to 12 months ahead of your contract end date. If not, we'll simply keep monitoring and send you another update the following week. You can also get quotes on specific meters at any time using our online quoting tool.

How many suppliers do you work with? How can I be sure you're providing the best the full market can offer?

We work with the 16 leading energy suppliers across the UK - suppliers with strong track records, competitive pricing, and reliable service.

Our weekly rate comparisons cover all 16 suppliers for your specific usage, with direct wholesale relationships to make sure we always bring you the keenest rates. Our fixed commission structure means we earn the same regardless of which supplier you choose, so we have zero incentive to favour anyone.

Why can I renew my energy contract up to 12 months early?

This is a little-known fact in the energy industry (a fact suppliers are keen to keep to themselves!). Most energy suppliers allow businesses to renew contracts up to 12 months before the current one expires, with some now offering 18-month windows. This means if your contract ends in July 2026, you could secure today's rates right now and have them start in August 2026 - potentially saving thousands of pounds if energy prices rise.

How much does Pro-Energy® cost?

Our energy rate monitoring service is completely free for businesses to use. We earn a small, fixed commission from energy suppliers (0.5p per kWh for gas, 1p per kWh for electricity) only when you choose to renew, regardless of which supplier you choose. This means we have no incentive to push you towards any particular deal - we simply provide unbiased market information so you can make the best decision for your business when the time is right.

Do you work with all types of businesses?

Yes, Pro-Energy® works with every type of business across England, Scotland and Wales - from single-person operations like hairdressers to large industrial and commercial enterprises. Whether you have one meter or multiple meters, small usage or high consumption, our service is here to help you save money.

What information do you need from me to get started?

All we need is for you to register on our website or app with your email address and chosen password. After registration, you'll need to complete three simple steps:
1) Verify your email address
2) Upload your latest gas and electricity bills in PDF format
3) Sign the Letter of Authority (which allows us to get quotes on your behalf).
The Letter of Authority is pre-populated and can be e-signed through our platform. The whole process is simple and takes about 5 minutes.

Can I use both the website and the mobile app?

Yes, absolutely. The Pro-Energy® app and website work hand-in-hand, giving you the same login and functionality across both platforms. The app offers additional convenience with push notifications and the ability to set custom saving thresholds (like "only notify me when savings exceed 10%"), while the website provides more detailed functionality for managing your account.

How do I access my account and previous quotes?

You can access our client area at https://app.pro-energy.co.uk/sign-in using your email address and the password you chose during signup. From your account dashboard, you can view all your registered meters, request immediate quotes using our quoting tool, access previous offers, and manage your account settings. The same login works for both the website and mobile app.

Can I track multiple business locations or meters?

Yes, you can register as many gas and electricity meters as you're responsible for. Each meter will be tracked separately, and you'll receive tailored quotes for each one based on its individual usage patterns and contract end dates. Our system handles everything from single meters to complex multi-site operations.

What if I don't want to take a deal you've sent me?

No problem at all! We're all about keeping you informed, not pressuring you to act. If the current week's rates don't offer the savings you're looking for, simply ignore the email and we'll continue to monitor the market for you. We'll send you fresh rate updates the following week. You remain in complete control and can wait until you see rates that meet your requirements.

How quickly do I need to respond if I want to accept a deal?

Energy rates fluctuate daily, so if you like the savings you see, you should respond on the same day by emailing us back. We'll then arrange a quick Zoom or telephone call to walk you through the contract details and complete the switch. We cannot guarantee prices from one day to the next due to market volatility.

Will you call me or pressure me to take deals?

Never. We're anything but a traditional energy broker - we're a monitoring service that keeps you informed. Once you've registered, the only contact you'll receive from us is your weekly rate update emails (unless you specifically ask us to call you). This hands-off approach is key to our service - we believe in providing market intelligence and letting you make informed decisions when you're ready.

What happens after I sign up for a new energy deal?

Once you've secured a new contract, we update your details in our system with your new contract end date. You won't receive any more quotes until 12 months before your new contract expires, at which point the weekly emails will automatically start again. That way, you're always staying ahead of energy price fluctuations.

What happens if energy prices go down after I've signed a contract?

This is the nature of energy markets - prices can go up or down. However, our service gives you 52 chances a year to secure rates, significantly increasing your chances of catching favourable market conditions. The key advantage is that you're never forced into last-minute decisions when you might have limited options and higher prices.

Is my business information secure with Pro-Energy®?

Absolutely. We take data security very seriously and only use your information to provide quotes and manage your account. You can unsubscribe at any time, and we work directly with reputable energy suppliers across the UK. Your usage data and business details are handled with complete confidentiality.
