There is no cost for existing clients who re contracted through us. There is no cost for potential clients (you) so long as you contract through us prior to your next energy contract start date.

What happens if I don't contract?

If you choose not to take your energy renewal deal through us, then that's fine however you are automatically deleted from our service. You can re-subscribe, however we would charge you £120+vat p.a. upfront for using our energy portal.

How do I contract?

As energy rates fluctuate, you need to send us an email in response to your weekly energy quote email on the same day and we’ll book you in for a Zoom or telephone to take you through the contract.  We cannot guarantee prices from one day to the next so we ask that you respond promptly once you've chosen your deal.

What happens if I contract?

You become a treasured client! One-year from your new renewal date, you will automatically start receiving your weekly energy deals from our energy portal so you will keep getting the best rates.

How are Pro-Energy making money?

We receive a small commission being just 0.5 p/kWh for each contract signed. We get the same level of commission no matter which energy supplier you choose.  You get an energy deal you’re happy with and we get paid directly by the energy supplier.

Why do prices change throughout the year?

Many reasons including global economics ( e.g. the Ukraine war ), weather, suppliers ( and how much profit they want to make! ) and nuclear power outages.

What is my renewal date?

This is the end date of your contract and is shown on your energy bill.

What is my unit rate?

This is shown as pence per kilowatt hour - p/kWh - and is the rate you are charged for each unit of gas or electricity you use.

What is my standing charge?

This is usually shown as pence per day - p/day - and is the daily rate you are charged for 3rd party costs such as National Grid or the Distribution Network Operators.  For larger meters this charge may be shown as pounds per day - £/day.
